Hey, hey! We're up and moving! We've released CHROME RIDER on Spotify, iTunes, and probably your streaming preference. We've booked a few shows  in Mexico City this February and March. Head back to Long Beach in mid-March. More stops in the Bay area and Sierra Nevada mountains in April. Perhaps most importantly, working on several new tunes and will be releasing them (and some of our classics) via Spotify and such between now and, well, til we get it all out there! We're feeling fresh and we believe our new music reflects it, so keep on rollin' with us. Did we tell you we love the outdoors? Although we'll be inside the Patagonia store in Santa Monica, we are delighted to contribute music to their end of year celebration because we appreciate and support the environment-conscious efforts Patagonia puts into their products. Wanna chat with a few environmental groups while doing some holiday shopping AND catching Par Avion sound waves? Sounds gooood.  The  Worn Wear Buy Back Program is another fine excuse to join us this Friday the 13th to give new life and additional value to your used Patagonia gear. Bring your own cup and enjoy some light snacks, and we'll see you for a couple of sets of tunes beginning at 6PM.   'Tis the season, y'all! 

It may come as surprise (or not), but when we aren't playing around with our guitars, hopefully, we're on the water with our fly rods!  The best part is that our worlds come together at a most special event, the West Coast Film Premiere of "Finding Joe Brooks" - a feel-good film about the father of modern day fly fishing. 

On November 16th at the Patagonia store in Santa Monica, there will be a tailgate style BBQ with food, drinks, vendors, a low volume set by Par Avion, and a raffle for the fundraising event called Brooks, Bourbon and Barbeque, kicking off the film debut in Los Angeles. All the proceeds will benefit The Joe Brooks Foundation and CastHope! Tiki-Au-Gogo returns! This time in Marina Del Rey at the Historic Warehouse Restaurant August 29th, the last Thursday of the month. Tiki-Au-GoGo recreates an island summer evening in the 60's, with music, movies, lighting and art!

Clear the runway! We're landing in Europe for a few shows in Italy and France this June! It's an exciting time as we add a new member to the crew - Thibaut of Hoboken Division on drums - for these shows. As you may know, Surfer Joe Summer Festival is a callin' for the good times, so we thought we'd start 'em early.

     We've turned the monthly corner into May, and we get going straight away. Saturday, May 4th, we will wrap up our 3rd show at The Pike in Long Beach. 3 sets beginning 930ishPM, a beer or two, maybe even some tacos, and a nice lil Saturday night - that's what is on our agenda anyway. Please do join us for it. 
​     Think the weekend is finished? It's not. Don't spend your Sunday crying in a margarita, dreading the inevitable Monday. Squeeze every bit of enjoyment out of your weekend by joining us at TRiP in Santa Monica. Actually, feel free to cry if you need it, but also bring your friends to the bar, or make new ones, for a soundtrack of twangy country and surf tunes. We're calling it Sawdust and Sand, but you can simply call it a good time. ​What's Cooking?
The heat's about to turn up with summertime on the back burner because PAR AVION has been invited to perform at SURFER JOE festival in Livorno, Italy this June!  A few years ago, we got a taste of the fun when Bernard played guitar with the Insect Surfers. It was nothing short of an amazing time. Look for more details on the schedule, but this time it's our turn and we are pleased as punch!
