Tiki Oasis | PAR AVION

Par Avion is pleased to announce our performance at this year's Tiki Oasis​ in San Diego. We perform not once, but TWICE. Once at a Crowne Plaza penthouse party on Saturday night and once poolside, also at the Crowne Plaza, at noon on Sunday. Saturday should find us raring to go crazy as we have not been in San Diego in ages. We have a lot of friends and family there. Sunday should find us bright-eyed and bushy tailed given recent travels to Europe (jet lag baby!). Our travels included shows in the Valencia area with Five Fingers with Parasol and shows near Bilbao with The Longboards(more to come on that). We’re bringing that stoke back home to San Diego!

SATURDAY NIGHT: San Diego’s The Grass Skirt​ has kindly invited us to play two sets at their penthouse party. Di’ Lovely, Tropicana Joe, Shanty Tramp, Captain Coconut and Brugal rum combine forces to make this go off​. This event is for Tiki Oasis attendees with tickets = NOT a free event. SUNDAY NOON: Our free poolside “Lei Over” set at noon has been designed to help everyone wake up from whatever self-incriminating adventures they had on Saturday with a smile! We’re going to start it off semi-mellow and end it with some scorchers! This event and the general grounds will be open until 5pm for all who care to show; paid or otherwise.

Remember, Tiki Oasis has an annual theme. Should you be attending, feel free to give a nod to something that relates to South Seas Cinema. We don’t care whether you are doing your best poor taste Hervé Villachaise or can strut Ursula Andress, we’d love to see you!  We, in turn, will do our best to throw a few film themes into the musical mix, not to mention dress in our best garage-rocker-castaway-flight attendant drag.

We have had a long and amazing summer already, but we are guilty of being greedy and want it to continue. We cannot do this without YOU.
